  1. Hey Kevin – Dan Steinberg of ex-MousePlanet / Sky Magic here! I’ve seem to have misplaced your email, and this seemed like the easiest way to reach out. Anyway, I am literally months behind on my Disney website reading but just read your “Drinking Around the Magic Kingdom” essay on MiceChat, and I think I have some info to add (assuming no one else has already done so). You see, I went to Epcot in early 1983 and again in 1984 on college Spring Break. I definitely remember some alcohol in the sit-down restaurants (margaritas and beer in San Angel Inn, and beer at Germany’s Biergarten and U.K.’s Rose and Crown, and I think maybe sake at Teppan Edo). I don’t remember alcohol at any of the counter-service restaurants, but don’t count that as definitive. And I am absolutely certain I never saw carts or ODV selling alcohol back then.

Hope that fills in some blanks,

    Dan
